If you think that I'm using a lot of Phthalo blue and Green Apatite Genuine these days, it's because I hate wasting paint. And I used less than I thought I would need for my summer project, so any excuse to mix these two colours!
I was also trying a new brush - a Triangular brush from Rosemary & Co. And it's a delight. It holds plenty of paint, it's good for broad washes and it's quite lively, enabling me to give the trees plenty of texture in one go, without having to add layers.
Another idea for a "proper" painting?
